Premiered: Biederhorn Recital Hall, Monroe (LA), May 2018 at the New Music On The Bayou Festival
Instrumentation: soprano, cello, percussion (large bass drum, large tam tam, inverted cymbal, suspended cymbal)
Compositional note: "This is a prototype for a larger work to incorporate a large ensemble, electronics and video media elements. The material was taken from both Radiant Cry I and II so as to continue my exploration of conceptual continuity within my recent work. The piece explores text by Canadian poet Paul Cameron Brown and is structurally a cross between an art song and a tone poem. The performers speak, play and sing to embody the words of the poetry and create a focused performance event. From these small projects a larger one will take form."

Additional note: "In a similar manner to the Skulptures series, these pieces form the foundations for the explorations of small combinations of instruments with various forms of media. It's just a fun time."

GESTURE CONTROL INSTALLATION Instrument - a gesture
controlled electronic instrument for performance art-based pieces.
Developed using Max MSP and various recycled materials.

MIDI BOW - various instrument bow attachments using
accelerometers to product MIDI data and create live electronic
sounds in Max MSP for performance art-based pieces.

SOUND INTERACTIVE LIGHT COMPOSITION Lights - sound
and motion reactive lights used for various installation based works.

ELECTRONIC TOY BOX - a modified, live sound processing toy piano named Jenna created for use during solo works that can sample live sound in it's surrounding environment.

MOTORIZED MUSIC BOX - a motorized and play speed controlled music box with music box strips. Speed during performance is controlled via potentiometer. Built in various sizes from various materials.

IMPLANTED ELECTRONICS - developed in collaboration with saxophonist/composer, Chi Him Chik - implanted speaker systems for the entire saxophone family for a variety of performances.
